John 3:16. Ahh, the much loved, most misquoted verse in existence.
| (Misquote) For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (/Misquote) everyone makes it. Look closely for the difference: John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Did you see it? It says "should" not perish. Here’s an example of the difference. #1 The USA should not spend imaginary money and send us into recession. #2 The USA shall not spend imaginary money and send us further into a recession. The verse is basically saying you believe? Hey! you are almost there. But Wait! Listen, still hope; Let scripture interpret scripture. look at part of CH 1 with me. John 1:12-13 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. So you also have to be born again. I won’t get into this because I am heavily digressing, but message me if you want some more on that. Back to Homosexuals and the effeminate. Me personally? I am an idolator myself. I watch too much TV, play too many video games, and eat way too much. Food, TV and games sometimes take priority 1 in my life. Which is not great. I doubt I could quit cold turkey, so I don't expect anyone to change their lifestyle either right away. All I want you all to do is think about if it is wrong or not. In quitting anything, I suggest getting off the building of sin and taking the stairs instead of jumping off the roof. I pray, I wait, and I’m scared, A part of me does not even want to, but I still wait for a way out. I Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
